Commissioned cover for the fantasy collective Canticles second anthology book. The front and back cover features two opposing gods, facing off during a major battle. The god on the front is the dark god bent on destroying the inhabitants of the mortal plane. The god on the back is the defender of mortals, cast in gold and a beacon of hope. I went for a completely different style than the first Anthology with this cover. I wanted something much more low key in terms of the art style. Bleaker and simpler but keeping with the positioning and content of the first anthology.
